I got to see Kings of Leon live again. I thought they played really well, but they didn't really interact with the audience the way they did in Las Vegas last year. I still loved it, I think they are really talented. Oh ya, they didn't play Revelry or Cold Desert, 2 of my favorites. That's OK, they hit the rest of my faves.
KOL playing their magic
I've had my head so buried in training lately that I haven't kept up on new music. One of my very favorite bands of all times released a new album in May and I didn't realize it until last week. Embarrassing I know. The Foals new album is Total Life Forever. Somehow they got ever better. This album is so light, open, airy, summery, happy. I fell in love instantly. They will be in CA in October, I may see if I can pull off a trip to see them. The tickets are $16, hello!
While I'm off biking, I'm just going to throw in here that we went to "Incepetion" last weekend. It's the most captivated I've been by a movie in a long time. It's one of those movies that you forget where you are, that you are a separate being, that you have a life outside of that theater, that you even have a phone (I didn't even remember to look for a text from my babysitter!). That doesn't happen to me very often. I even dreamt about it that night. It's a movie to see at least twice.
